The
SAFEMASTER M control module functions like a small safety PLC by
controlling and interconnecting various inputs to create user defined
redundant safety outputs.
By
adding individual extender modules to a single system, the number of
inputs and outputs can be expanded to 26 inputs and four multi contact
outputs.
Each extender modules can be simply programmed on site via selection switches just inside the front cover of the modules.
Each
eight input extender module can monitor up to six different
combinations of safety function and the system can be configured to
integrate with Profibus and CANopen systems to display extensive system
status and fault indication.
